Maryborough Blazers Representative Program
The Maryborough Blazers Representative Basketball Program is where talent meets opportunity. Designed for athletes looking to take their game to the next level, this program offers a challenging and rewarding experience beyond the domestic basketball league. Players selected for the program represent the Maryborough Basketball Association (MBA) in regional and state-level competitions, showcasing their skills and passion for the game.
Eligibility
To be eligible for selection, athletes must first compete in the Maryborough Basketball Assocation domestic competition.
Team Selections
Registration for tryouts will be advertised via the Maryborough Basketball Assocation Facebook page. Tryouts will be conducted by the coaches of the team, with four different age groups in both Boys and Girls competitions:
- U12
- U14
- U16
- U18
Tournaments
Maryborough Blazers teams may compete in a variety of tournaments, that may include:
- Hamilton
- Warrnambool
- Portland
- Horsham
- Shepparton
- Portland
- Colac
- Bendigo
- Junior Country Championships (JCC)
